- 01The host opens the night under Arrangementer, taps «Del aftenen» and types the other business’s shop address, e.g. spisehuset or the whole link shop.kuvert.dk/spisehuset.
- 02The other business’s owner gets an email and sees the invitation at the top of Arrangementer and on Oversigt. Nothing is shared until they have said yes.
- 03Once they have said yes, the night is under their Arrangementer too. There they add their own prices, e.g. table packages from their own table setup.
- 04The night’s page shows both businesses’ prices. The guest can buy from both, and each payment goes to the business that sells the price.
Each price has one seller, and the guest pays the seller directly. The tickets are paid to the promoter’s Stripe account and the tables to the club’s, with each business’s own fees. The seller is named on the receipt and the ticket, and the sale is on the seller’s own invoice from Kuvert and in its bookkeeping.
If a guest has chosen prices from both businesses, the guest pays in two goes: first with the business whose page the guest is buying on, and then with the other. The page says so before anything is paid. The receipt and the receipt email show what is still to be paid, even if the guest only comes back later or on another device.
If you have agreed that one gets a share of the other’s sales, e.g. that the club gets 20 % of the tickets as rent, the host enters the share and the co-host approves it. The settlement on the night shows each business’s sales per price after refunds and Kuvert’s fees, and who has to pay whom how much. It can be downloaded as CSV and printed. You only see the other’s sales when you get an approved share of them.
Both businesses’ doors can scan all of the night’s tickets. The scanner shows who the ticket was bought from, and the count shows the whole night and each business’s part. The ticket still belongs to the one that sold it, so it is only on the seller’s guest list.
- If the host moves the night, each business’s guests are told by the business they bought from.
- If the host cancels the night, both businesses get an email. When the host presses «Refundér gæsterne», each guest gets their money back from the business they paid. The co-host can also refund its own guests itself.
- A co-host can leave the night, or the host can remove it. If the co-host has sold nothing, its prices disappear. If it has sold tickets, its prices are closed for sale, and its guests still get in until the night is over.
If an artist who has their own shop on Kuvert is playing, the host can link the name in the line-up to the artist’s shop. The artist’s own website then shows the night by itself, and search engines can see who is performing.
