Kuvert on your home screen, like an app, without the App Store.
Kuvert installs straight from the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows. It then sits on your home screen or in the Dock with its own icon, opens full screen without an address bar, and tells you when something happens in your shop. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play, and the app updates itself.
How it works
Three steps

Open app.kuvert.dk
Log in on the phone, tablet or computer you want to use. Kuvert asks you itself whether you want to install the app, and the menu always shows «Installér appen» (Install the app) until it is installed.

Put it on your home screen
On Android, and on a computer with Chrome or Edge, it is one click on «Installér» (Install). On iPhone and iPad you tap Share in Safari and choose «Add to Home Screen», and on a Mac you choose «Add to Dock» in Safari.

Open it like any other app
Kuvert opens in its own window, full screen, and you are still logged in. Turn on notifications and your phone will tell you when something is sold or a guest books a table.

What to know
- Full screen, no address bar
- Installed, Kuvert fills the whole screen, right up under the clock and down over the home indicator. At the till that means more room for the camera and no tabs that can be closed by accident.
- Notifications about sales and bookings
- Choose what your phone should tell you about: a sale, a refund, a payout or a new table booking. Tapping the notification opens the right place in Kuvert. A booking never shows the guest's phone number or email on the lock screen.
- Scan is one tap away
- Press and hold the icon on Android, or right-click it on a computer, and choose «Ved disken» (At the counter). Kuvert then opens straight on Scan, ready for the next code. While Scan is open, the screen does not switch itself off.
- It updates itself
- There are no updates to download from a store. When there is a new version, «Ny version klar» (New version ready) appears at the bottom, and you reload when the queue has gone. The app never switches version in the middle of a redemption.
- It opens on a poor connection too
- The app itself lives on the phone and opens straight away, even with one bar of signal. Balances and tickets are always looked up with us, so the screen says plainly when it cannot get through rather than showing an old figure.
- The same Kuvert everywhere
- The same login, the same screens and the same roles as in the browser. Staff only see what their role gives them access to, and what you change on the computer is on the phone straight away.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to get Kuvert from the App Store or Google Play?
No. Kuvert installs straight from the browser, and it takes a moment. There is no app in the App Store or Google Play, and there is no Apple or Google account to create.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Open app.kuvert.dk in Safari, tap Share and choose «Add to Home Screen». Notifications on iPhone and iPad need Kuvert to be on the home screen, and iOS 16.4 or later.
Can it be installed on a computer?
Yes. On Windows and Mac you install Kuvert from Chrome or Edge, and on a Mac also from Safari with «Add to Dock». It then opens in its own window and sits in the taskbar or the Dock. Firefox on a computer cannot install apps, so use one of the other browsers there.
Does the app cost anything?
No. It is part of Kuvert, and there is nothing extra to pay for it.
Can staff use it on their own phone?
Yes. Each member of staff logs in with their own account and only sees what their role gives them access to. When they log out, the phone also stops receiving notifications from the shop.
How do I remove it again?
Like any other app: press and hold the icon and remove it, or uninstall it from the app's own menu on a computer. Your shop, your orders and your login are not touched.
