Tickets to the concert, sold from the venue's own page.
A concert has a hall with a set number of places, a presale and a door. Kuvert sells the tickets from the venue's own page: in tiers so the presale is cheapest, with a waiting list when it sells out, and with one phone that scans the audience in at the door. The money is on your own Stripe account as soon as the ticket is paid.

Situations you know
This is the day-to-day Kuvert has to handle.
- The hall holds 350
- Create the concert with the hall's capacity. When the last ticket is sold, sales close on their own, and the page says it is sold out. Nobody sells place number 351.
- The presale should be cheapest
- Sell the tickets in tiers: when the first 100 at the presale price are gone, the next price opens on its own. Each price has its own quantity and its own time window, and the door ticket can open only when the doors do.
- It is sold out, and someone drops out
- Guests can join the waiting list instead of leaving. If places free up, for example after a refund, we write to as many people as there are places, in the order they signed up.
- The poster goes all the way
- The concert has its own poster. It appears on the concert's page, on the ticket and in the emails, and it is never cropped, so a portrait poster comes through whole, even when the link is shared on Instagram.
- Doors open at 19, the band goes on at 20
- Line-up, set times, doors and last entry are on the concert, so the audience knows when to come. At the door one phone scans the tickets, and a ticket gets in only once.
- The programme is on your website
- Your website can fetch the concerts from Kuvert with name, date, poster, line-up, prices and what is left, and be told when a concert is put on sale, changed or cancelled. So the programme never says anything different from the ticket sales.
- The concert is cancelled
- You refund the orders from the dashboard, and the money goes back through Stripe from the account the payment landed on. The tickets are cancelled so they cannot be scanned in.
What matters most
What matters most for music venues
- Tickets in tiers
- Early bird, presale and door ticket for the same concert. The next price opens when the previous one sells out, and two tiers are never on sale at once.
- Waiting list when sold out
- The audience signs up, and if places free up, they are told in the order they signed up. You don't have to do anything.
- Check-in at the door
- Scan the ticket with the phone's camera. The same ticket gets in only once, and a used code says so straight away.
- The ticket in the phone's wallet
- The audience puts the ticket in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so the code is ready in the queue and not in an email that has to be dug out.
- The programme on your own site
- A «Buy ticket» button by each concert that opens ticket sales on top of your page, and a programme that fetches itself from Kuvert.
- Gift cards for the venue
- Sell gift cards alongside the tickets, so a concert can be given as a present before the date is chosen.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What do ticket sales cost?
There is no monthly plan. It costs 2 % + VAT in service fee and DKK 5.00 in handling fee per gift card and per ticket, and by default the buyer pays the handling fee on top of the price. A ticket under DKK 25.00 has no handling fee, so a free concert costs nothing.
Can the audience choose a specific seat?
No. A ticket gives entry to the concert and counts against the hall's capacity, but it has no numbered seat. Venues with a standing audience or unreserved seating are the best fit.
Can we have presale and door sales for the same concert?
Yes. A concert can have several prices, and each price has its own quantity and its own time window. The presale can close the day before, while the door ticket opens only when the doors do.
What happens when it is sold out?
The page says it is sold out and offers the waiting list. If places free up, we write to as many people as there are places. No ticket is set aside, and the first to buy gets it.
Can we set an age limit?
Yes. The age limit is shown on the concert, on the page and on the ticket, so the audience knows it before they pay. Kuvert checks no ages. The door does that.
Can our website show the concerts?
Yes. Your site can fetch the concerts, the prices and what is left from Kuvert without any key, and a button by each concert opens ticket sales in a window on top of your page.
