Kuvert is a tool for Danish businesses that want to sell gift cards, punch cards and tickets under their own name and take table bookings on their own page. They don't have to order cardboard cards, wait for a payout from a platform or work out the rules themselves.

What it is

Your own shop, not our marketplace

The customer buys on a page with your name, your logo and your colours. The card they get looks like it comes from you, because it does. Kuvert doesn't appear as a middleman to your customer and doesn't build a marketplace where your guests are shown competitors.

Behind it sits the dashboard, where you issue, redeem and track your numbers. Here staff can also deduct an amount without being able to change prices. If the cards need to go into your own system, there is an API and signed webhooks.

Four things that are not negotiable

We never touch your money
The payment goes into your own Stripe account at the moment of purchase, and Kuvert only deducts its fees from the transaction. There is no client account, no intermediate account and no monthly payout from us. You choose when Stripe sends the money to your bank. That is the decision the rest of the product is built on.

Digital cards only
No plastic, no inventory, no shipping and nothing to throw away when the logo changes. A card is a code with a balance, so it can be sent again if the customer loses it.

The rules are built in
We issue with at least 36 months' validity, which matches the three years the law assumes when nothing else has been agreed. The customer can have the remaining balance paid out, free of charge after expiry, and a sold card only becomes income once it is actually allowed to. You don't have to remember it yourself.

No hidden fees
The fees are 2 % + VAT in service fee and DKK 5.00 in handling fee per gift card and per ticket. There is no monthly fee, no set-up cost, no lock-in and no per-user charge. If a restaurant chooses table booking, it has a fixed plan with the price written on the pricing page. Stripe's own fees are Stripe's, and we don't add anything on top of them.
