Two fees per sale in your shop. The service fee is 2 % + VAT of each sale, and gift cards and tickets have the same rate. You deduct the VAT as input VAT, so the real cost is 2 %. The handling fee is DKK 5.00 incl. VAT per gift card and per ticket of DKK 25.00 or more, and the buyer pays it on top of the price unless you choose to pay it yourself. Cards you issue yourself from the dashboard are free. There is no monthly fee on sales, no set-up cost and no lock-in, and Stripe's own transaction fees are settled separately on your Stripe account. Table booking for restaurants is an add-on with its own price, free for up to 25 bookings a month; nightclubs' table packages cost the fee per package sold and have no plan.

The payment is on your own Stripe account straight away, and Kuvert only deducts its fees from the individual sale. We never hold your money. The money goes to the bank according to the payout schedule you choose: every day, every week or every month. If you choose «I'll pay out myself», it stays put until you press «Pay out now». Stripe releases the money from a sale a few days after the payment.

Yes. Customers can pay with MobilePay or card. MobilePay has to be switched on for your Stripe account. We set that up with you when you create the shop.

Yes, on the phones and browsers that support it. The purchase is completed on Stripe's payment page with MobilePay or card, and Apple Pay and Google Pay appear above the card payment on an iPhone or a Mac with Safari and in Chrome with a saved card. There is nothing you need to switch on.

Yes, both. On the card's and the ticket's own page there is a button for each, and one tap puts the card in the phone with exactly the QR code you scan at the counter. There is no app to download and no account to create. When you deduct an amount, we update the saved card, so the customer is not walking round with a balance that was right the day before yesterday.

At least 36 months. That is Kuvert's own minimum and matches the three years the law assumes when nothing else has been agreed. You can choose a longer validity for your products, but never a shorter one.

Yes. When you create the shop, you connect an existing Stripe account or create a new one as you go. Stripe handles identity verification and sends the money to your bank.

Yes. A company buys the corporate gifts itself in your shop: they paste in the list of names and email addresses, pay once, and each employee gets their own card. The company name and CVR are on the receipt, and a gift card can be set to «Companies only» and «cannot be exchanged for cash». If the company would rather pay by invoice, you issue the cards yourself from the dashboard. That is free, and the cards are kept separate from ordinary purchases in the accounts.

They are recorded as outstanding liabilities in your accounts until both the validity period and the subsequent cash-out period have expired. Only then is the remaining balance recorded as income, so you never record revenue that the customer can still claim.

Restaurants, cafés, hotels, spas and wellness, hairdressers, yoga and fitness studios, nightclubs, music venues, experience venues and anyone else who sells something you can give away, a punch card for regulars or an evening with a set number of seats. Restaurants and cafés take table bookings on their own page, nightclubs sell tables and table packages for the night, and canteens at schools and workplaces give children, employees and teachers a canteen card that is topped up with MobilePay or at the till.

Kuvert is a sales platform for Danish businesses, made in Vejle. The business sells digital gift cards, punch cards and tickets from its own page and takes table bookings for the restaurant's tables or the club's booths. The customer pays with MobilePay, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the money goes straight into the business's own Stripe account.
