Feature

Bought in good time. Delivered on the day.

People buy gifts before they're needed — and a gift that lands three weeks too early isn't a surprise any more. The buyer picks the date at purchase, and the card is sent automatically that morning.

01

How it works

Three steps

  1. 01

    The buyer picks a date

In the delivery step, they choose whether the card should be sent straight away or on a specific day.

  2. 02

The card is issued straight away

Payment goes through, and the card is created now — it's only the sending that waits. The amount is on your account from the day of purchase, not from the delivery day.

  3. 03

    We send on the day

On the chosen date, the card is sent automatically by email to the recipient — with the buyer's message, who it's for, and who it's from.

Purchase day

15 January 2026

  • Payment has gone through

DKK 300.00 lands on your own Stripe account — not on ours.

  • The card is issued

KUV-7K9F-2XQD for DKK 300.00 Valid until 15 January 2029 — counted from today, not from delivery.

  • The receipt has been sent to the buyer

k•••@eksempel.dk — so they can see it went through without spoiling the surprise.

30 days later

Delivery day

14 February 2026

  • The gift card is sent to the recipient

m•••@eksempel.dk — automatically, even if you have closed. The greeting reads: “Tillykke med dagen”.

Two days, and everything that happens on the first. Choose when the recipient should hear from you.

When should the recipient hear from you?

The payment falls today, and the card is ready. The recipient will not hear anything from you for a month.

What to know

The buyer gets their receipt straight away
The receipt goes to the buyer at purchase, so they can see it's gone through, without the surprise being spoiled for the recipient.
The card is sent even when you're closed
Sending runs on its own on the chosen date — there's no one who needs to remember to press send. If a sending goes wrong, the card stands as not delivered and is tried again, instead of being counted as sent.
Or handover in the shop
If you're buying the card to give in person, it can be handed over straight away instead of being sent.
Validity hangs on the card
The card's 36 months' validity is tied to the card, not to when the buyer happened to buy it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

When do we get the money with scheduled delivery?

At purchase. Payment lands on your Stripe account straight away — it's only the sending to the recipient that's scheduled ahead.

Can the date be changed after the card's been bought?

You can send the order's card again from the dashboard if something needs fixing. The buyer can't move the date themselves afterwards.

What if the recipient's email is typed wrong?

Then you send the card again from the dashboard to the right address. The balance goes with the card, so a new amount isn't issued.

How far ahead can you schedule?

The buyer picks a future date at purchase. The card is issued from the day of purchase, and validity runs as normal.
