# Punch card A punch card is a card where the balance is counted in punches rather than kroner. It is the same kind of balance as on a gift card: one punch deducts one punch value. > **Note:** A punch card can be sold in two places. If you put it in your shop, the customer buys it like any other card, and it is a sale like any other, at the same rate. If you instead issue it yourself from the dashboard and take payment over the counter, no payment goes through us, and there is no fee on it. ## Sell it on your page 1. Go to Products in the dashboard and create a fixed-price product. 2. Set the punch value, that is, what one punch is worth. 3. Set the number of punches (minimum 2, maximum 100). 4. The price is yours: ten punches at DKK 100 for DKK 900 gives the customer the tenth for free. 5. The customer buys it in the same order as a gift card, and the card arrives by email. ## …or issue it yourself 1. Go to Gift cards in the dashboard and choose Issue punch card. 2. Set the punch value and number of punches. 3. Hand the code to the customer and take payment as usual. The card's value is the punch value multiplied by the number of punches. What you charge for it is up to you. The balance falls by exactly one punch value, and the rest remains. Both you and the customer can look up the card and see the number of punches remaining and the full history. > **Note:** The punches belong to the card, not to a person. Whoever has the code can use a punch, so a couple can share a punch card. ## Validity Punch cards are issued with a minimum of 36 months' validity like all other cards. You can make it longer, never shorter.
